Bridgewood Farms

Bridgewood Farms has been amazing; my sister attends the program 2 days a week, and she looks forward to going every time.

My name is James Schattle. I’m president of the Spirit Cookers. This past month we had an opportunity to cook for Bridgewood Farms. It reminded me of the many cooks that we had done years ago. Staff at that time was unbelievable. They cared so much for the men and women in their care. Then they had a new CEO who came in and to me it went downhill. About a year and a half ago I went by there with hopes to be able to cook for them again, the receptionist said she would have somebody call me. I waited for several days and no one returned my call so I gave up. I was doing a cook “Sock Hop” for the Special Needs men and women for several groups including Sacred Hearts Catholic Church when I met this young woman from Bridgewood Farms, Gina Helms, she was such a professional and asked if I would consider cooking for Bridgewood Farms. I said yes. We did the Cook recently. I could not tell you how pleased I was with the staff. These men and women and young boys and girls did such a great job. I will continue to cook for Bridgewood Farms as long as they allow us. Thanks again for allowing us to be a part Bridgewood Farms. What an amazing place. They do so much for these kids and do it with a smile on
