Montgomery County Food Bank

Great experience, very fun & feels like I’m actually helping. Telling my people & will definitely be back. *Wear warm gloves & use provided rubber gloves, to keep yours clean. I’m very impressed with efficiency and friendliness of everyone participating. Thank you for the initiative! Enjoy! 🌈☀️🎶

My teen had a great experience volunteering here for his community service credits for school! He said he had so much fun and was fascinated by learning what they do here to help the community. He can't wait to come back!

This year our Woodridge Forest Neighbors participated in the Holiday Helpings Food & Funds Drive. We completely filled the white 10 boxes received from the food bank plus more. We had a neighbor who donated $100 to the funds drive. At the MC Food Bank, Shelly, Alyssa and Reagan guided us and unloaded the 1,464 pounds of food received from our neighborhood . Everyone we met was very helpful and we thank them for all that they do.

We had our inaugural “Cans for a Cause” canned good drive to help stock up the Montgomery County Food Bank. Hoping to keep this growing each year.

The smell of trash around this building is unbearable!!! Something needs to be done to permanently fix this issue. We live by the food bank and cannot go outside without smelling the horrible trash from this place.
