Montgomery County Housing Auth

Everyone was so nice and respectful! The wait wasn't too bad, even the other people in line were so nice to me and my son! Thank y'all so much, the line went pretty fast and they cared enough to give us waters and ice! We had such a good experience no matter the outcome, I am thankful for being respected and cared for! The process ran very smoothly all together. Thank y'all so much!

EDIT: IT HAS BEEN ALMOST TWO WEEKS AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CALL BACK. AND FOR 2 DAYS THIS WEEK, ALL DAY LONG, LITERALLY, I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CALL THESE PEOPLE. AND IT JUST GOES TO VOICEMAILS THAT ARE FULL OR IT JUST RINGS. THIS IS THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I HAVE NO CHOICE OTHER THAN TO CALL THE HUD SECRETARY AND LET HIS OFFICE KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE! I WILL ALSO BE CALLING T.D.H.C.A AND TALKING TO AMY. ARE THEY EVEN AT WORK?!? I am disabled, have no car and no way to get to the housing authority. THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE OR RETURN CALLS!! Their mailboxes are full so I can't leave a message. This is ridiculous.

They really need to get new people in this office. When I first moved here Ms. Archie was so kind I couldn't wait to meet her in person. I go in today trying to explain my situation. I understand there are rules and guidelines. However, I also understand that there is a chain of command. So the head person in this office very passive aggressive, tells me when I explain to her my physical illness that everyone in the office gets sick as well. Then I asked her who can I speak with that's above her and she says there's no one above her. Okay I guess she's God! Once again I know there is a chain of command so I go back in the office because I was very upset and ask for the number to HUD she says I can get it off the wall or look it up the website my day has been ruined. Like I said they need to get new people in that office nobody returns phone calls even though they say they will. You can hardly ever talk to talk to a live person. You basically have to go down there to even speak with someone.

Excellent, professional, communicative, very compassionate, and caring staff. The social workers and rest of the staff always assist clients to ensure families are able to find affordable housing.

I would not recommend this place to anyone I've been trying to get help with my unit It's flooded on the inside there's mold on the inside of my unit The flooring on the inside of my unit is falling in and I beg for help from the housing authority to get the landlord to fix something and I haven't had help I've been here 3 years This is the worst place to live I would not recommend this housing authority or coming to Montgomery to anyone I poured it in here 3 years ago and I duly regret it
